Teaching Series
The origin of so much in our lives that is found in the Bible has its roots in Genesis. Of course Creation, but so much more than that. The origin of marriage and relationship, death and resurrection, the nation of Israel and God's covenant with them to the land He set aside as His own. Divine incarnation, salvation, justification by faith, God's faithfulness and our security in Him and so much more. This is a book about BEGINNINGS about FOUNDATIONS and we all know how vital it is that we build on a strong foundation.
In this short series we're looking into Daniel chapter 9. This is one very special chapter in the Bible and pivotal in a number of ways:
- Understanding the importance of knowing ALL of God's Word and applying it
- Knowing that God has an important part He is inviting us to play in what He is doing
- Understanding what will happen in the last days so we are ready to act faithfully as Daniel did
Over the last two years we studied the wonderful book of Revelation. So having been given insight into ‘What’s Next,’ it is time to focus on the equally important question: What Now! 2 Peter, and the book of Jude are both written to churches like ours, and about a time such as ours. They carry an urgent message for churches of our time and our world: The fight against apostacy. False teachers, immoral leaders, shallow faith and teaching are a grave danger to the church today. Peter and Jude show a deep concern for the future of the faith of believing communities. Their message to us is one we must pay attention to.
